Tweet count explosion

Anyone know why high volume twitters (like myself) have suddenly had a three fold increase in their tweet count. Mine went from 14k to 45K over a couple of days?

I know I tweet a lot, but I don't want to scare potential followers off with such an outlandish volume of tweets.
