Does Convertbot require Internet for currency use?
??? Must I be Internet connected in order to use Convertbot's currency converter? I don't need daily currency updates; just want to download currencies at the start of a trip and be able to use those conversions for the following week or so. My goal is to have a reasonably current conversion rate without having to connect to the Internet every time, since international connection fees can be quite exorbitant.

Inappropriate?Convertbot will check for currency updates on launch unless you have the "Currency Updater" checkbox disabled in Settings. If you disable this then it'll use whatever the latest data that it was able to fetch. In other words just let it update once and you should be fine on your trip.

Inappropriate?Thanks so much, Paul. The App Store info says Currency is "updated on app launch, requires internet connection," so I was unclear. Cheers!
