Is it possible to change the visual appearance of Spotify in some way?

I find it odd that it doesn't have some built in support for skins as they have a skin system."
I also find it odd that there is no possibility to change the theme in some way, please prove me wrong!

Inappropriate?I'm ideas about create a new frontend for the Spotify in the area in XUL as a hobby project, some time in the future. I dreaming about to implement many cool social features, as the api will be rolled out. However, to simplicite the development, I leave the kernel to the existing spotify client via uris and only making a cool shell with many funny features.
