What is that Photo Device Sync for Nirvana 1.7 ?
Why songbird will sync photos ?
Isn't Songbird only a media player ?
Songbird will be a system operational or only a media player !?
I think sync photos is unnecessary...
Let picasa or F-spot do that... Or we will lost the focus...
and what is the next goal... sync "calendar ?! "
please, don't lost the focus...

Inappropriate?I think photo syncing makes sense. If Songbird DOESN'T implement full device syncing, the moment someone wants more than just music syncing, they will switch to a media player which does offer it. If they offer only music syncing, it limits the user audience to people who only need music syncing.
Besides, it doesn't mean photo management. iTunes offers photo syncing too, and its basically just an options window where you select a photo path. I assume its being done because Phillips wants it, in which case, it probably generates income in the long run.
I don't get what you mean by "losing focus" either. Portable media Device syncing is something a media player should do and photos are a form of media. Nobody said Songbird only needs to play music, or play video. I think songbird should be all it can be, and increasing the functionality will help make Songbird dramatically more useful long term. Everyone wins
