Fast-forward/Freeze error with maximized applications.
With gaming applications maximized I find that Songbird occasionally bugs out after progressing on after a finishing track -- it eats up my CPU usage and fast forwards through the next songs in seconds. Anything I can do to remedy the problem?
*EDIT* Some basic information:
Version: Songbird 1.0.0, Build 860
Windows XP Home 32bit SP2
Gaming applications in which this has occured: Half Life 2 modules ("Left4Dead; Team Fortress 2; Garry's Mod"), Warhammer Online and World of Warcraft.

Inappropriate?I know this question is a bit old now, but apparently the logic for that was rewritten.. Lots of people had this problem, and one case was fixed a lot better without them ever known about it (changing sound format).
Track switching is a lot more stable on 1.1beta3, and I highly suggest you upgrade to the betas (final will be out VERY soon anyway probably), and even the betas are much more stable then 1.0 was. After upgrading to 1.1, be aware you cannot downgrade though..

The work they have put in between 1.0 and 1.1 makes a world of difference.
And I noticed that Winamp seems to have started to play catchup now in areas. 1.2 which is due to be released in 2 months time will pretty much make Songbird a done deal for everyone.
But for now, 1.1 for me has enough benefits, that it is my primary player at the moment. (1.0 was ok, but 1.1 is a massive leap forward. 1.2 will be a hyperspace jump)
I’m overconfident now until my instructor pushes me back down a level.
