Misplaced PostRank enabling checkbox in Google REader
As of today sometime I've noticed that my PostRank filter checkbox is way off to the side and under the logo in Google Reader. Screenshot:
At first I thought it was a cache problem in my browser, but it persisted after I cleared it. I also tried reinstalling the FF plugin and switching to the Greasemonkey extension, but I got the same results.
Also, it doesn't seem to be pulling down and/or inserting the feed item rankings.
Is this a problem with Google Reader itself? Are other people experiencing this?
I'm using Firefox 3.5.7; more info available on request.

I am told that the best option, if you're not using it yet, is to switch to the Greasemonkey script version of the Google Reader extension: http://gr.postrank.com/
There are recurring issues on the Google side that are difficult (to sometimes impossible) to fix with the non-Greasemonkey version, and I believe the long term plan is to end development and support for it.

Inappropriate?Hi Craig -- Thanks for letting us know. Upon initial perusal, our suspicion is that Google changed something in the Reader. We've logged it, and will investigate further and let you know what we sort out.
-
Inappropriate? For some reason, my "check for updates" was broken for AideRSS so I didn't get v2.7.3. However, I manually reinstalled it and now it's working.
One thing though: my FF add-ons manager says that my plugin is still 2.7.2. Since it's working (and the checkbox is in a different location now) it looks like I really do have v2.7.3. Is there a chance that the version number wasn't rolled for the plugin? Or is this a problem on my system?
I’m happy that the main feature is fixed, hopeful that the remaining issue will be addressed
-
Inappropriate?Hmm, it could be a version issue on the plugin. We'll take a look!

Inappropriate?Hi Craig, this has been fixed and should be looking alright now.
-
Inappropriate?Hrm, I'm getting this message:
"An error occurred while trying to find updates for AideRSS google reader Integration"
I'm on FF 3.5.8, OS X 10.5.
I'll restart my browser to see if that fixes it.
I’m cautious
-
Inappropriate?Nope, it's still giving me that error message.
Do you want to debug this further? I'll send you whatever error logs I have for the plugin, if you can tell me how to get them.
If not, I don't mind uninstalling & reinstalling, as long as it appears to just be a problem in my particular installation.
I’m mildly disappointed

Inappropriate?I have the same problem... My firefox version is 3.5.8 ¿Would i need new version of firefox?
