Xavier YOUNG replied on March 18, 2010 09:19 to the problem "German language won't work" in EaSynth ForeUI:
Oh... I think I know the reason now.
Changing language need to do some file read/write operations in the software's install directory, that will need the Administrator permission. You can use Administrator account to change the language, after the configuration take effect, you can use it with normal user account.

Xavier YOUNG replied on March 18, 2010 01:39 to the question "Combo Boxes that scroll?" in EaSynth ForeUI:
Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the buying :-)
Currently the ComboBox element dose not support the scrolling feature. We will consider adding a "Popup Height" property to limit the size of popup list (and scroll if content is too big).
So far the Table element is the only one that really support scrolling. You can also make a "scrollable combobox" with TextBox and Table etc.
Xavier YOUNG replied on March 18, 2010 01:12 to the problem "Images with less than 10px width can't be added" in EaSynth ForeUI:
Hi André Poeggel,
Just confirmed that is a bug: the minimun size of Image element is 5x5, but in image dock the minimun size is 10x10. We will fix this bug in next version.
Meanwhile there is work around: You can add an Image element and set its image source from the floating tool pane, that will add the image into image dock automatically.

Hi Remco, thanks for the useful suggestions!
We have to admit our lack of experience on OSX usage. So your suggestions are really useful for us to improve ForeUI in Mac OS.
If you have more similar points, please append them in this thread, we will follow up and continue improving ForeUI in Mac. Thanks.
BTW, thanks for correcting the misspelling of "latter" :)

Xavier YOUNG replied on March 16, 2010 01:43 to the question "How can I use checkboxes in a table column?" in EaSynth ForeUI:
Hi Remco Douma,
The reason that cause positioning issue is the "incompleted row" in table element.
Here is a screenshot of the design phase:
You can see there is an incomplete row (marked with green) at the bottom of table. When you run simulation, you will see the incomplete row is removed:

The browser re-layout the table, so each row become higher, so your checkbox elements can not match their loaction...
The work around is: make sure your table has no "incomplete row", you can change the table row height, or change the table element height to achieve this.

Xavier YOUNG replied on March 15, 2010 09:30 to the question "Custom event: Pause 2000 miliseconds" in EaSynth ForeUI:
Yes that is a designed behavior.
You can take a look at this: http://www.foreui.com/articles/Tips_f...
The pause action will delay the action after it, but must within the same event handler. So a custom event handler with just one pause action will do nothing at all...
Of course there are some work around to achieve your expect, but not very simple:
Define the custom event handler like this:

Then trigger the custom event in this way:

Click the button, and you will see the "done" message popup after 2 seconds.
