Time Passed is based on your starting date. You can change that in the settings.

Time Left is calculated based on your weight trend. You don't change it yourself. The more weight data you add, the more accurate it gets.

Some people have solved this by restarting their router. Another thing that could be causing the issue is some sort of personal firewall. Apps like Little Snitch or your Personal Firewall in the OS X Security Settings?

Finally a good way to test if it's our app or your network is to download Apple's Remote app and see if you can sync that to your computer's iTunes.

Nope that doesn't help (because that shouldn't cause an issue). I thought you might have some strange character or something.

Another thing you can try is creating a new OS user account and installing the sync app there. I have a feeling there's some other app you are running that could be causing conflicts. It would be helpful if you could run the sync app without any other 3rd party applications running on your mac (even in the menubar).

The examples you provided do work already. You can find/replace phrases and "this " just fine. Just keep typing whatever you want to replace in the "find" field.

What's your iPhone's device name? The name you chose in iTunes? There's a possibility that some strange character may be causing the issue. I attached an example of what I mean by the name. If you prefer not to post it here, you can email it to us at support@tapbots.com.

Merging clips is coming in an update. If you think Pastebot is no more useful than notes, then you may not understand how Pastebot works or what its purpose is.

Just download and install the prefpane again. You don't have to remove the installed one, just let it overwrite (so you don't lose your settings). It should add it back to the list.

It does match. It's only color while connected. All other times it's black. This makes it easy to glance and know sync is active.

For them to sync properly, the icon should be blue in the menubar, and you should see a blue bar while pastebot is running as well. Are you pasting into a document? Your cursor has to be in a input area that excepts text pastes as if you were hitting command-v.

Hey Peter,

The progress remaining looks correct in our itunes screenshot. It shows the total weight planned on being lost is 14.6lbs and the user has already lost 2.1lbs. Progress Remaining says 12.5lbs because that's how much left they have to lose at this point.

As far as the Time left goes, that's the estimated time you will reach your goal based on the blue trend line (in the graph view). It's just an estimate and is more accurate as you enter more weight data.
