Hi,

Is this still happening? Is there a particular perl script that's causing this to happen? I've tried just running a simple perl script and didn't have any problems with it.

It's on the system wide pasteboard. Just open any application and hit Command-v to paste it.

We don't support jail broken phones for various reasons. We'd love to support running in the background, because obviously it'd add a new level of functionality to Pastebot, but unfortunately this is going to have to wait until Apple decides its OK.

We can't make a 3rd party app support pasting in an image if the app doesn't accept images. I tested out this Note application and it only supports pasting in text. You can try copying directly from the Photos app into that application and you'll get the exact same behavior as Pastebot.

Honestly given the limitation of the iPhone OS you are probably not going to find any non Apple applications that support both Image and Text processing in the same view.

Honestly this sounds like a hardware or network issue. Pastebot really doesn't do anything different WIFI wise then any other network enabled application on the iPhone.
