miz_ginevra replied on February 08, 2010 23:34 to the problem "why do moderators change titles, and mark questions answered?" in Get Satisfaction:
It's understandable if a customer like yourself feels as though an administrator of a community shouldn't mark a question "answered" if the customer doesn't feel as though it's been answered, or that changing a title sometimes seems above and beyond.
I'm curious if you would offer us a case that you think would quality for "abuse", because that's a hefty word to leverage against a community manager. Do you have some specific examples? Have you been in touch with the community managers at the company in question to try to resolve this?
From looking through the changes they've made, I don't see anything abusive from their side, honestly.
I change titles of topics (including the change I'll make to this one) to benefit the whole community in two ways: one is to make it easier for other community members to find the answer to a similar question, and the second is to keep inflammatory language to a minimum.
As I said, "abuse" is a very strong word to level at a company, so I'd like to understand the specifics from your side.

miz_ginevra replied on February 08, 2010 19:15 to the question "Resolved, how exactly?" in Get Satisfaction:
HI Angela - you should be able to see all of your activity on your dashboard:

Unless the company archived the question, you should still be able to find the original topic. What's the company or community in question, and we can help you out.

If you're looking to change your Get Satisfaction password, you can always change your password from the login details section of your dashboard.

Or, log out and choose the "forgot my password" selection, and you'll be sent a new password, which you can also change if you want. Or, feel free to email me at ginevra [at] getsatisfaction [dot] com and I'll do my best to help you.

miz_ginevra replied on February 03, 2010 23:21 to the question "Company not showing up as mine." in Get Satisfaction:
For some reason, that company hadn't been made "public" in our system. For now, I've made it public, and it should be showing up now for your admin purposes.
To have it appear on your customer dashboard, just give yourself a rating, and you'll see products and companies you've rated and followed as a customer.
