Mario Menti posted an update in twitterfeed on March 09, 2010 15:10:
bit.ly is having a few issues this morning. please bear with usWe're currently suffering some slow processing and posting delays as a result of the bit.ly API having some issues right now (see http://blog.bit.ly/post/436893007/sho... for details).
Apologies for the issue - it should be temporary, please bear with us. Thanks!
A comment on the idea "Can't log in" in twitterfeed:
I think you must have signed with an incorrect email address - we have "admin@uypgradeyourbody.com" on record.
This is such an obvious typo, and all your info matches, so I have now updated this, and logging with "admin@upgradeyourbody.com" should now work. – Mario Menti, on February 10, 2010 22:24

Main PuSH hub not sending notifications at the momentIt looks like ca. 13:15 GTM today we stopped receiving real-time pubsubhubbub notifications from pubsubhubbub.appspot.com - the hub that handles the majority of realtime new post notifications. It appears that this is affecting other users too, and not just twitterfeed, so the fault seems to be at the hub or publisher end.
As soon as we have an update on the situation we will let you know - apologies for any delays and inconvenience this may cause.

Mario Menti replied on February 10, 2010 12:31 to the problem "Pubdate ignored when posted if it posts at all to Twitter" in twitterfeed:
It looks like the dates in the feed aren't valid, so it's quite possible our feed parser got very confused.. for details see: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?ur...
Mario Menti replied on February 10, 2010 12:28 to the question "Selected bit.ly but TwitterFeed still using tinyurl. Why & how to change it?" in twitterfeed:
If it happens all the time, then it does suggest there's something wrong with the bit.ly API info. I know that bit.ly is very fussy about usernames, and it even matters if letters are in upper/lower case - could you check you specified the username/login exactly as it appears at http://bit.ly/account/your_api_key/, including any upper/lower-case letters?

What kind of feed is it? We currently have issues with some Delicous and Google News feeds, see more at http://getsatisfaction.com/twitterfee...

Is this a post that has been posted before? We usually check against link, pubDate and GUID to try and avoid reposting any content where possible, so it should only re-post old content if all of these elements have changed. If it happens again, could you let us now the twitter account you're posting to and the feed URL, and we'll try and take a closer look.

Could you let me know which twitter accounts these feeds are posting to, and I'll try and take a closer look. – Mario Menti, on February 08, 2010 12:12

Sorry I didn't realise there was a second one, have also set that one to polling now. – Mario Menti, on February 08, 2010 12:10

Mario Menti replied on February 08, 2010 12:02 to the question "Posting Google Reader Shared Items to Facebook and Twitter" in twitterfeed:
That's strange - the twitter and facebook services are currently still processed by 2 different back-end systems (we're in the process of moving everything into one), but in theory the behaviour as far as posting is concerned should be the same, so even if they don't post at exactly the same time, the should both post the same items. Apologies for this issue, it should become consistent once we have moved all processing to the new backend.
A comment on the question "STATUS NOT CHECKED YET Problem" in twitterfeed:
I can't actually see a service posting to @walkingdeadnet - when you edit the feed in the dashboard, can you make sure you select the twitter service, authenticate at twitter, and then save the page? This should then give you list of feeds/services set up. – Mario Menti, on February 08, 2010 11:54
Mario Menti replied on February 08, 2010 11:50 to the problem "Blog posts not always published on Twitter & facebook" in twitterfeed:
The second feed you mention doesn't seem to have any new items since the 6th Jan.
Re. the first one, I can see that it skipped one post to twitter, but unfortunately it's difficult now to see - it's usually related to GUID, links and pubDates, since these are the elements we check to avoid re-posts or posting older posts - if it happens again please let me know.
Re. facebook, as far as I can see in the database we should have posted recent items (that's what our "last posted" values suggest), but I can't actually see where they go - do you not see any posts in Facebook?

A comment on the problem "not feed to facebook" in twitterfeed:
No, this shouldn't happen, as long as you give twitterfeed permission to post in your absence (I think it's one of the prompts you get when you initially connect with Facebook). I tried to replicate this with a few accounts but could never make it happen unfortunately. – Mario Menti, on February 08, 2010 11:40
