If your theme was only available for Pro accounts, then you won't be able to edit it. Did you try switching your blog to the Chroma theme? That theme is easily customizable just by uploading a banner image to your blog. It'll use whatever colors are in your image as the font/background colors for the theme. Hope that helps!

Mosaic's design always has that tile across of it for your blog name. If you don't want that then you should use Theme Builder. It's not that difficult actually and we have some resources on Everything TypePad: http://everything.typepad.com/blog/20... and the Knowledge Base to help you.

Our Knowledge Base articles should help you with importing the RSS feed: http://help.sixapart.com/tp/us/import.... The feed will need to be converted to a specific format if it's not from Blogger or Wordpress. But are you asking about importing from Vox to TypePad? That's not possible at this time.

Melissa,
This is a really big question and probably not easily answered here. Heather's blog is using advanced templates and has a lot of customizations on it. It's not something that's easily replicable unless you're comfortable with CSS or have a designer to help you out. My suggestion is for you to build out what you can using theme builder and then submit a ticket to support to help you with the rounded corners and background. It's much easier for the support team to have something to start with versus creating something from scratch.
Hope that helps!

Yes, it looks like in chrome + safari --> image resize by clicking on corners does not work. I filed a bug for that. You can resize it using the image options utility, or by clicking the 'custom' radio button when initially inserting an image and choosing a custom size. But sadly the drag thing doesn't work.
As for the formatting of text, we tested a few things but they all worked. Can you be specific as to what you are testing? The font size, bolding, indent, etc?

Thanks for your clarification. Having this feature on a theme-by-theme basis is something that we'll look into as it does make sense for some of the widely used themes. – Kimmie Nguyen, on February 01, 2010 17:47
