Sorry about the confusion!

Easiest thing to do...
1. Close BumpTop
2. Go to Start, %APPDATA%, then go into Bump Technologies Inc., then BumpTop
3. Delete settings.json
4. Start BumpTop again and it should prompt you for the license key.

Looks like a physics problem - it's facing the wrong way? Click on it and shake it around a bit - or drag it back on the floor and back up to the wall - see if that helps =)

Did BumpTop start successfully for you in the past? And then just stopped working properly?

If so, go back into the %APPDATA%\Bump Technologies Inc.\BumpTop and zip up the scene.pb.bump and log.txt and settings.json files and email them to me at feedback@bumptop.com - reference this thread.

If it hasn't ever started correctly for you, can you post up some video card details? Go to Start, Run, dxdiag, and click Save All Information. In the text file that is saved (open it with notepad) please copy and paste the first 30 lines of text or so, so I can get an idea of your system configuration.

Hi there,

I think I've seen the crashes submitted - it seems to be related to themes.

Can you:
0. Quit out of BumpTop.
1. Go to Start, Run, %APPDATA%
2. Go into Bump Technologies Inc., then BumpTop
3. Go into Themes and move all of those folders out to your desktop temporarily.
4. Start BumpTop - and see if things start.

If they do, ZIP up all the themes you have in that folder and email them to us so we can look further.

Any screen resolution changes on your system would move the icons.

But... BumpTop shouldn't move your existing icons in Windows. On first run, it will copy your current icon positions into BumpTop, and any movement is stored in the BumpTop scene file.

The 6150LE might have some issues.

We are working hard on v2.1 which has an updated graphics engine with DirectX which should solve this problem.

We don't yet have a finalized release date yet, but if you sign up on our VIP testing forums at http://forums.bumptop.com/ you can try out v2.1 as soon as we have an early beta.

Christian: The Windows version is based on different code, so this is likely unrelated. Can you give me a bit more information about what happened?

Weird.

1. Download the Bump_me_green.v1.zip from the link above.

2. Extract the .bumptheme out of it.

3. Double click on the .bumptheme file and it should install itself.
