We are currently working on this, we had some growing pains this past week with all the growth so a lot of our focus was stabilizing our systems. It sounds like you want to build your own custom reading plan. We have this idea on paper, so it might be something we add in the future.

As far as settings, we don't yet have it pulling any settings like the last Bible version you used through your profile yet, we hope to have this soon.

Once you start the plan, and are on the plan page, in this case http://www.youversion.com/reading-pla..., you will see a tab called "Settings", click that tab and edit your start and/or end dates.
