After a year, the interface has changed quite a bit. You can find the red "Delete client" link at the top-right of the client edit view.

A comment on the question "How can I add existing client to a project already started?" in Toggl:

Hilary, send (support email address) us your email that you use to log in and the name of the client and project as well as steps on how to reproduce this error. Then we can get to the bottom of this and fix it. – Jaanus, on February 09, 2010 12:02

Toggl Desktop goes offline when it gets a signal from the OS that there is no internet connection or when there is an error.

The current Classic timer is quite old and it may have issues with offline integration. However, next week we'll start rewriting it, which will result in a properly working timer (also in offline).

In the meantime maybe you can try the Nano timer?

Hi Matt. Try clearing your browsers (I assume you use Firefox) cache and/or remove the offline storage (Firefox -> Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Offline storage and delete the line that says "toggl.com").

Other users have had the same problem and clearing cache has helped. Let me know!
In the meantime we are also investigating it to find the cause of this.

I totally agree Andrew. Every new feature has to be carefully considered so that it won't change anything for users who do not wish to use it. And of course 'ease of use' must remain the same or get better.

You can use the new Nano with it (by selecting it from the system tray menu). It also has the "remember me" fix in it.

It has "beta" in its name because it is not public yet. As soon as we are sure that the "remember me" feature and the new Nano work nicely, we'll make the new version public.

It seems that "remember me" works fine if you close Toggl Desktop properly from the system tray menu "Exit". However we are still going to release a new version in which the "remember me" works in any way.

Hi Andrew. Yes, the new Nano version (http://blog.toggl.com/2010/02/the-new...) includes a convenient way to start a new task with a pre-existing tasks properties.
In the old (current) version of Nano, clicking on the description of a past task will track time into past, it will not make a new task for today.

The problem with importing Basecamp to-dos is that Toggl does not have a corresponding to-do item. One possibility is to import to-dos as planned tasks. We'll have to think about it thoroughly.
