The feature you propose is not planned for now, but within the next months we'll be adding several ways for you to take more control over the layout and content of your Soup. Sorry that this sounds so vague, we'll give more details when we get closer to the launch :) But I think that'll solve the underlying issue you're having.

This is a mistake: We're running a test, but it wasn't supposed to show up for registered users. It'll be fixed soon, don't worry: "Repost" is here to stay.

That makes sense, but what if it's the very top post, it's a short post, and you have a lot of groups? We can always make the document longer, but it's kinda hard to make space at the top of the page: So dropping downwards is the safer option...
