Allowing another family member to help manage my account

Im the GenY who encouraged most of our family to join Geni and now seem to be the resident geni admin whenever my 'older' (read 'wiser'), family members are stuck (usually beause they have forgotten their passwords).

It's very annoying to try and help them when really I have not much ability to help as each user is an island with regards to their security and administration.

What Im requesting is a system where users can nominate another family member as an admin, who can then update their passwords or perform other admin tasks.

I think it would be true that many Geni members are being supported by another more 'tech savy' family member, and this would help adoption to more less PC savvy members.

Im sort of sick of helping family members remember their passwords.
ie. My grandfather in law change his email provider, he no longer gets emails to that old account and has no way to change the email address, so now he just does not use Geni, despite being active on his PC and organising the last 3 100+ people family reunions.

My mum tried to login today and said .. aww.. forgot my pwd. Not much I can do really.. just point her to the standard system.

Its a network of trust, let family members nominate others whom they trust to help them perform admin functions, change primary email, update pwds etc.

sad I’m frustrated
