Flock, retrieval of downloaded news clippings not working properly
SOS, I'm trying to retrieve downloaded news clippings I've previously downloaded & saved. It appears to be some kind of formatting issue. FYI, Flock was used to both download & attempt to retrieve.

Inappropriate?Hi Lynne,
What actually are you seeing? Can you not save things? Or do they not show up when they get saved? Can you not find the containing folders? What version of Flock are you running? And on what OS?
Thanks, and sorry you're experiencing this issue.

Inappropriate?hi cam,
i just updated to 2.56(i think) but this problem existed prior 2 updating. my os is win xpsp 2 or 3. when i reopen the saved files rather than opening the doc, i get separate icons 4matted as jscript scrip files every lil thing parts of ads, lots of geek speak, etc...but am missing the primary info that i needed, certainly nothing formatted as anything similar to an actual article.
i'm encouraged 2 have ur help, thx 4 the assist!

Inappropriate?Hi Lynne,
I cannot reproduce this issue on my side, unfortunately. Could you please provide an example of a website that this is occurring on?
Thanks,

Hi Cam,
Unfortunately I can't, they're files from at least 2 mos. ago & I of course named them so i would know what they are.
I think i may have dl'd & saved them w/o opening them 1st b4 saving them. Any suggestions should this prove 2 b the case???
Thx, Lynne -
Inappropriate?Lynne,
Could it be possible that you are opening the files with a program not optimized to read them? What type of files are you having issues with? What file format are they? Is this happening with *all* files, or only some?
Thanks,
~Cam
