Flock 2.5.6 lags and crashes when using Facebook (chat) and some flash instances.
Flock: 2.5.6
Vista Home Premium SP1
Flock keeps lagging and crashing. It is mostly when I am on Facebook or use some of the flash games. I have used Flash uninstaller and then reinstalled the latest version of flash. I have even tried Flock safe mode, removing all add-ons to see if it was one of them, but I am still having the problem. I haven't tried this in firefox as firefox ALWAYS crashes without fail for me, but i have used the last version of Netscape, and have had 0 problems with any sites.
I want to keep Flock as a browser, over Firefox or IE, (although if netscape were still going, i'd be using that as a main browser). I just don't know what to do to stop the lagging and crashing.
Things I have tried:
-cleaning out useless bookmarks
-uninstalling/reinstalling flash
-minimizing tabs
-tried with no add-ons
Notes: Before I upgraded Flock to 2.5 I had no problems. I could have about 10+tabs going with little to no lag, chat with facebook chat, and so on so forth. I've been able to run many flash instances all at once, with no problems. I have even started getting plenty script error messages asking me to abort the script or keep it, after I upgraded. So I'm not entirely sure what is going on.
