Inappropriate?I've seen special wipes made especially for touch screen devices such as iPhones and iPod Touches that kills bacteria and also cleans the screen. Try doing a google search or something to find stores that carry them if that's what you're looking for...

Inappropriate? You can also use almost every single electronics cleaning product out there... such as Monster Cleaner, iKlear, etc...
> On the cheap side you can use some vinegar.
(50/50 diluted with water in a spray pump bottle, also kills bacteria and is used in restaurants and food services) -
I think i might want to just wipe it off with an eyeglass cleaning cloth. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting water on the screen. But I think I might look into some of those products you mentioned. Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Use the polishing cloth that came with iPod touch to gently wipe the glass screen and the case. Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Unplug and turn off iPod touch (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button, then drag the onscreen red slider). Avoid getting moisture in openings. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPod touch.
